As you know, the Central Botanical Garden was found in 1934 to fulfill important missions such as protecting various plant species, preserving ecological balance, conducting scientific research, providing environmental education, and providing a recreation area for the public.
As a result of major reconstruction and restoration works, the area of the Central Botanical Garden has been increased from 39 hectares to 45 hectares. An entrance complex has been created in the garden, and new-type greenhouses and a children's playground have been built. In addition, a modern bridge equipped with a 650-meter-long elevator has been built for visitors. This bridge allows visitors to view the city of Baku from above and offers the opportunity to see the city's landscape from a completely new perspective.
It should be noted that visitors with physical disabilities can also easily go up to the bridge via the elevator and enjoy the beautiful view of the capital.
