A number of measures are being implemented in Baku to expand and preserve green areas, restore the ecological balance and protect the environment.
As part of these activities, a nationwide clean-up day was held on April 19, 2025, with the participation of employees of the Central Botanical Garden. During the clean-up day, work was carried out to improve and clean the garden's territory, specially designated lawns were trimmed, and the bases of trees and shrubs were dug up and cleared of weeds.
It should be noted that work on improving the territory of the Central Botanical Garden will continue daily and on weekends.
